In the future, this Australian court case will be seen as the single most vital WIN for ordinary people against the might and power of the aviation industry.
So what exactly does this case represent?
The first aspect is the TIME it has taken to be won
Joanne was exposed to smoke in the confines of a passenger airliner in 1992 – that’s 18 years ago.
It has taken 10 TEN years for the legal systyem to arrive at this decision. Many people could have worked it out in a few seconds….
Joanne is still ill from that smoke event – so this is the big question which the airline industry knows the answer to….
‘HOW MANY OTHER INNOCENT PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED IDENTICAL FUME EVENTS SINCE FLYING ON A BAE 146?’
The answer is MILLIONS of people. That is why so many people are mysteriously ill – as a direct result of breathing toxic oil fumes in the confines of a ‘passenger’ jet.
If the aircraft manufacturers are asked about this they will say that:
‘The air is generally safe’ - correct! but it CAN be unsafe!
‘In normal operation the air is fine!’ – True – but what about during a fume event – in abnormal operation.
Joanne Turner – you are an absolute star! If anybody thinks this is about money – wrong! Why would anybody chase this for 18 years and $138,757?
It’s all about moral duty – health and not letting the Bxxxxxxxx’s get away with poisoning millions of innocent people.
And what’s more, there are plenty of other people across the world waiting to do – exactly the same.
